Clyde Willow Creek Farm Micro Wedding

Clyde Willow Creek Farm is the perfect spot for a northern Virginia micro wedding. The food there is excellent and the lawn behind the restaurant provides a beautiful willow tree backdrop for ceremonies.

There are three main reception spaces for big weddings: an outdoor terrace, which can accommodate up to 130 guests, what they call the Chandler Barn, which can accommodate up to 132 and an outdoor pavilion, which can accommodate 120 seated guests. For smaller events like Kim and Josh’s micro wedding, there are five other available spaces.

Kim and Josh utilized the Fox & Hounds room for their late October micro wedding reception.

Clyde Willow Creek Farm is a good fit for couples who want to stay near DC for their wedding. This venue is in Broadlands, Virginia, about a 15 minute drive from Dulles International Airport and 40 minutes from DC. It also provides incredible food and a beautiful backdrop for portraits.

After Kim and Josh’s ceremony on the lawn, we took family photos in front of the arbor. Family then went inside for cocktail hour while we explored the property for couple’s portraits. They shared first dances in the Fox & Hounds room and enjoyed toasts and cake before running out into the rain for some final epic, dramatic portraits to close out the night.
