Grace Estate Winery in Crozet is one of the prettiest Charlottesville-area wedding venues.

It features sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, a beautiful estate backdrop and a tented reception space. It’s located just 30 minutes from downtown Charlottesville and 40 minutes from downtown Staunton.
Couples can get ready in the bottom floor of the estate. The romantic balcony and wrap around driveway are perfect for photos.

Ceremonies take place overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains and the vineyard.

Receptions are held in a permanent white tent at the back of the estate.

Grace Estate Winery is a good fit for couples who want an elegant, timeless wedding near Charlottesville with mountain views. They can host up to 200 guests.

Rebekah and Tommy started the day at two separate Airbnbs in Charlottesville – Rebekah with her brides people and Tommy with his grooms people. After getting ready, they took Ubers to Grace Estate. It was a super hot and bright day so we ended up deciding to try and wait out some of the heat and do formals after the ceremony.

Because they are already legally married (they had eloped in 2020) they walked into the vow renewal together. Rebekah’s dad officiated (again) and several friends read selected works in both English and Spanish (Rebekah and Tommy met in the Spanish program at the University of Virginia).

After the ceremony, they got to experience all of the traditional wedding reception events they missed out on with their smaller celebration. Friends and family gave toasts, they had first dances with their parents (and even their grandmothers!), they danced the night away and ended the evening with a sparkler exit.
