Romantic Garden Wedding Editorial at The Maridor

Secret garden meets whimsical fairytale in this romantic micro wedding editorial shoot at The Maridor in downtown Roanoke.

For this vendor collaborative we wanted to show you what you could do with lots of color and personalized details — even if you have an intimate wedding!

The inspiration was sustainable romantic garden wedding. We used local, in season flowers, vintage rentals, non-traditional wedding dresses and, of course, donuts as dessert for this incredible vibe.

The female model donned two dress looks. The first look featured a simple, fitted gown with a plunging neckline paired with an incredible cathedral veil with floral detailing.

The second was a light blue ballgown featuring embroidered flowers and a semi-sheer bodice.

The tablescape paired mismatched vintage plates with funky decor like a small bust and brass animals. Bud vases were used liberally along with two slightly larger local flower arrangements.

Oriental rugs were placed under the table and as part of a secondary photo location. A peacock chair and neon “Better Together” wedding sign completed the look.
