Saima and Brady’s love story began in middle school, where their friendship blossomed over long summer days and meaningful conversations. Over the years, their deep connection only grew stronger, turning into a love that has stood the test of time. Their wedding at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens was a reflection of that bond.
From the very beginning, Saima and Brady envisioned a day that felt intimate, elegant, and full of joy—a celebration not just of their love but also of the deep connections they share with family and friends.
They got ready at The Westin Reston Heights and then headed over to Meadowlark Botanical Gardens for group photos, couples portraits and the ceremony.
Because their wedding was in late October and sunset is early at that time of year they opted to do a first look at the hotel so they could ride in the limo together. We took group photos right outside of the atrium and then headed into the gardens for a few minutes of couples portraits.
As day turned to night, guests gathered in the stunning atrium surrounded by lush greenery and floral accents that echoed the couple’s deep appreciation for nature. The ambiance was nothing short of magical, with soft, warm lighting and delicate elements creating a romantic and timeless atmosphere.
Every detail of Saima and Brady’s wedding came together beautifully, thanks to an incredible team of vendors:
As a wedding photographer, my goal was to capture the essence of Saima and Brady’s love—not just in posed portraits but in the stolen glances, spontaneous laughter, and heartfelt embraces that made the day unforgettable. From the moment Saima walked down the aisle, her radiant smile met by Brady’s teary-eyed gaze, to the whispered words they shared between dances, every moment was filled with genuine emotion.
The couple’s desire for natural, documentary-style photography allowed me to focus on the interactions that mattered most. Whether it was a quiet moment between Saima and her mother before the ceremony, the joyful energy of their guests during cocktail hour, or the heartfelt toasts that brought both tears and laughter, each frame told a piece of their story.
While candid moments took center stage, we also carved out time for beautifully stylized portraits in the garden. The vibrant blooms and cascading greenery served as the perfect backdrop, reflecting the couple’s love for nature. Under the warm glow of the night sky, Saima and Brady shared quiet moments together, letting the joy of the day sink in. Their joy was effortless, making every shot feel organic and deeply personal.
Every element of the day was carefully curated to reflect Saima and Brady’s personalities and shared experiences. From the beautiful Indian-American ceremony to special dances performed by the bridal party, every detail held significance. The reception was a continuation of this sentiment, with heartfelt speeches, lively dancing, and an atmosphere filled with warmth and happiness.
Saima and Brady’s wedding at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens – The Atrium was more than just a beautiful event—it was a testament to their journey, their love for nature, and their deep appreciation for the people who have supported them along the way. Being a part of their special day and capturing their memories was an honor, and I know that just like the gardens they adore, their love will continue to grow and flourish in the years to come.
Saima & Brady, thank you for allowing me to document such a heartfelt and joyous day! May your love story continue to blossom!
